Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions? We've got answers.
The draw goes ahead on the scheduled date however many tickets sell, and there will be a winner — it will not be cancelled or postponed for want of sales. What the winner takes depends on how the competition sells.
If at least 77% of the tickets sell, the winner takes the prize advertised on this page.
If fewer than 77% sell, the winner takes 50% of this competition's ticket sales as cash instead, and the advertised prize is not awarded. The cash replaces the prize — it is not paid on top of it.
Full rules are set out in the cash alternative section of our terms and conditions.
Once all tickets are sold or the competition's closing date is reached, a winner is drawn using a cryptographically secure random selection from the pool of valid ticket entries.
The draw process is logged and auditable, ensuring complete fairness. Every ticket entered has an equal chance of being selected.
Pre-Committed Draw Hash
Before the draw takes place, we generate a private secret and publish its SHA-256 commitment hash here. After the draw, the secret can be revealed so the result can be reproduced independently.
